The natural beauty of the Lake District National Park and the native Herdwick sheep who roam these fells are the inspiration behind our exclusive range of bags and home accessories.
Designed, hand cut and sewn in the Lake District, they are a modern reflection of our heritage.
Our tweed alters with each weaving as every year the natural shades of the yarn vary; Herdwick: Limited by Nature.
The Farms: We’re proud to buy our fleece directly from National Trust farmers at:
Three Natural Colours: We pay the farmers to sort their flock before shearing, separating the natural shades of fleece.
Unique Tweed: We use the farmers to transport the wool to Yorkshire for washing & combing. It’s then spun into 3 shades of high quality worsted yarn.
Our tweed is woven by skilled weavers in Huddersfield and Sedburgh.
Quality Products: Our bags & accessories are hand cut and sewn in Carlisle.
Upholsterers in Coniston design and sew our home furnishings.
We’re committed to supporting the lifestyle and traditional skills of Cumbria.
Handbag received this morning.
It's beautifully made and oozes quality.
My wife loves it and is delighted.
The "Derwent" arrived at 8.15am, it's brilliant and Jean is over the moon.
Thank you for all you have done to bring this bit of Cumbria into our lives.
Just wanted to say a big thank you.
I absolutely love my bag and make-up bag; they are amazing.
